This center serves as a centralized hub that integrates live data and analytics to help our deputies stop and solve crimes and respond to emergencies. Sheriff Berrong recognized the need for this innovative technology in 2023 and worked diligently with our partner agencies to ensure the system was ready for service by late 2025.

The Blount County Sheriff’s Office is the lead agency in this critical effort to enhance public safety services throughout our county. We appreciate the dedication, funding, and cooperation of Blount County Communications, the Maryville Police Department, and the Alcoa Police Department in this vital partnership. This powerful public safety platform enhances situational awareness and provides active incident support. It improves efficiency and resource allocation during law enforcement, fire, medical, weather, and similar public safety incidents. The Sheriff is the Standard for local and regional law enforcement. Our office remains dedicated to our mission of Standard, Safety, and Strength through the development and launch of the ROC.
